This policy covers this website and the free tools on it. We handle personal information under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). It does not replace the retainer agreement that applies once you become a client.
1. What we collect
- What you send us — your name, email, and phone number through the contact and booking forms, plus whatever you write in the message.
- What you enter in the tools — including the refusal letter or GCMS notes text you paste into the Refusal Letter Analysis, and the dates and case details the other tools need.
Please do not paste more than you need to. Refusal letters and GCMS notes often contain passport and UCI numbers, addresses, family details, and medical or financial information. Remove anything the analysis does not need.
2. Why we use it
To answer your enquiry and assess whether we can act for you, to produce the result the tool is designed to produce, to follow up on a case assessment you asked for, and to keep the site secure and working. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information.
3. Cookies
We use cookies for analytics and advertising measurement. You can block or delete them in your browser settings; the site still works, only our measurement becomes incomplete.
4. How long we keep it and how we protect it
Enquiries, bookings, and tool submissions are kept for as long as we need them to respond and to meet our professional record-keeping obligations. The site runs over HTTPS, access is limited to people who need it, and rate limiting and bot checks are in place. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send highly sensitive documents through the website forms.
5. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can unsubscribe from follow-up emails at any time using the link in the email or the unsubscribe page. We may need to verify your identity first.
6. Contact
Send privacy questions, access requests, or complaints through our contact page. If our response does not satisfy you, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. We may update this policy; the date at the top shows when it last changed.
